What is the significance of the magpie you ask?

These birds are black and white in color with a striking iridescent blue similar to a peacock that can be found both in European and Asian countries. I am very black and white as people would say and my family is rooted in European and Asian influences and culture.

Magpies are known as collectors… gathering beautiful, interesting and shiny things while symbolizing curiosity and hospitality. Truly a representation of my hope to bring a community together through a heart of service and true intention behind every curated experience!!

What’s My “Why”?

The best answer I can give after 30 years of heartache, tribulations, promotions, sleepless nights, and stress…is truly because I CARE. My success has only been predicated on the fact that my motto is to live by the DISH method (something I made up over the years to help keep me focused). D is for dedication and diligence because they go hand-in-hand and you can’t have one without the other. I is for integrity and if you have none, you have failed yourself and your customers. S is for service, and if you make the person you are serving your priority it leads to the biggest S in life - SUCCESS. Lastly, H is for humility because no matter how successful you are, you don’t know everything and require an open mind. My dad always said that if you can’t dish it then don’t start it!!

My goal is to share some of these principles with other like-minded professionals. I want to play an active role in changing the mindset of customer service today no matter the product, while still being an advocate for women empowerment. It requires an innate strength to build and pursue organic relationships especially with sincere intent and interaction. That’s where all the all the experience and faith come into play.

It’s not easy and won’t be easy, but nothing worth having ever is. I’m here for all the challenges a journey like this might bring… so buckle up for the ride because it’s going to be crazy!!
